- (KJV) If I be not an apostle unto others, yet doubtless I am to you: for the seal of mine apostleship are ye in the Lord.
- (ASV) If to others I am not an apostle, yet at least I am to you; for the seal of mine apostleship are ye in the Lord.

- (KJV) Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock?
- (ASV) What soldier ever serveth at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not the fruit thereof? Or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock?

- (KJV) For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen?
- (ASV) For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox when he treadeth out the corn. Is it for the oxen that God careth,
- (WEB) For it is written in the law of Moses, "You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain." Is it for the oxen that God cares,
- (BBE) For it says in the law of Moses, It is not right to keep the ox from taking the grain when he is crushing it. Is it for the oxen that God is giving orders?
- (YLT) for in the law of Moses it hath been written, `thou shalt not muzzle an ox treading out corn;` for the oxen doth God care?
- (CPDV) For it is written in the law of Moses: "You shall not bind the mouth of an ox, while it is treading out the grain." Is God here concerned with the oxen?
- (DAR) For in the law of Moses it is written, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that is treading out corn. Is God occupied about the oxen,
- (DRC) For it is written in the law of Moses: Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen?
- (WBT) For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen?
- (RV60) Porque en la ley de Moisés está escrito: No pondrás bozal al buey que trilla.¿Tiene Dios cuidado de los bueyes,

- (KJV) Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope.
- (ASV) or saith he it assuredly for our sake? Yea, for our sake it was written: because he that ploweth ought to plow in hope, and he that thresheth, [to thresh] in hope of partaking.
- (WEB) or does he say it assuredly for our sake? Yes, it was written for our sake, because he who plows ought to plow in hope, and he who threshes in hope should partake of his hope.
- (BBE) Or has he us in mind? Yes, it was said for us; because it is right for the ploughman to do his ploughing in hope, and for him who is crushing the grain to do his work hoping for a part in the fruits of it.
- (YLT) or because of us by all means doth He say [it]? yes, because of us it was written, because in hope ought the plower to plow, and he who is treading [ought] of his hope to partake in hope.
- (CPDV) Or is he saying this, indeed, for our sake? These things were written specifically for us, because he who plows, ought to plow in hope, and he who threshes, too, in hope of receiving the produce.
- (DAR) or does he say [it] altogether for our sakes? For for our sakes it has been written, that the plougher should plough in hope, and he that treads out corn, in hope of partaking of [it].
- (DRC) Or doth he say this indeed for our sakes? For these things are written for our sakes: that he that plougheth, should plough in hope; and he that thrasheth, in hope to receive fruit.
- (WBT) Or saith he this altogether for our sakes? for our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope.
- (RV60) o lo dice enteramente por nosotros? Pues por nosotros se escribió; porque con esperanza debe arar el que ara, y el que trilla, con esperanza de recibir del fruto.

- (KJV) If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?
- (ASV) If we sowed unto you spiritual things, is it a great matter if we shall reap your carnal things?
- (WEB) If we sowed to you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we reap your fleshly things?
- (BBE) If we have been planting the things of the Spirit for you, does it seem a great thing for you to give us a part in your things of this world?
- (YLT) If we to you the spiritual things did sow -- great [is it] if we your fleshly things do reap?
- (CPDV) If we have sown spiritual things in you, is it important if we harvest from your worldly things?
- (DAR) If we have sown to you spiritual things, [is it a] great [thing] if *we* shall reap your carnal things?
- (DRC) If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great matter if we reap your carnal things?
- (WBT) If we have sown to you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?
- (RV60) Si nosotros sembramos entre vosotros lo espiritual, ¿es gran cosa si segáremos de vosotros lo material?

- (KJV) If others be partakers of this power over you, are not we rather? Nevertheless we have not used this power; but suffer all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ.
- (ASV) If others partake of [this] right over you, do not we yet more? Nevertheless we did not use this right; but we bear all things, that we may cause no hindrance to the gospel of Christ.
- (WEB) If others partake of this right over you, don't we yet more? Nevertheless we did not use this right, but we bear all things, that we may cause no hindrance to the Good News of Christ.
- (BBE) If others have a part in this right over you, have we not even more? But we did not make use of our right, so that we might put nothing in the way of the good news of Christ.
- (YLT) if others do partake of the authority over you -- not we more? but we did not use this authority, but all things we bear, that we may give no hindrance to the good news of the Christ.
- (CPDV) If others are sharers in this authority over you, why are we not more entitled? And yet we have not used this authority. Instead, we bear all things, lest we give any hindrance to the Gospel of Christ.
- (DAR) If others partake of this right over you, should not rather *we*? But we have not used this right, but we bear all things, that we may put no hindrance in the way of the glad tidings of the Christ.
- (DRC) If others be partakers of this power over you, why not we rather? Nevertheless, we have not used this power: but we bear all things, lest we should give any hindrance to the gospel of Christ.
- (WBT) If others are partakers of this power over you, are not we rather? Nevertheless we have not used this power; but suffer all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ.
- (RV60) Si otros participan de este derecho sobre vosotros, ¿cuánto más nosotros? Pero no hemos usado de este derecho, sino que lo soportamos todo, por no poner ningún obstáculo al evangelio de Cristo.

- (KJV) Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar?
- (ASV) Know ye not that they that minister about sacred things eat [of] the things of the temple, [and] they that wait upon the altar have their portion with the altar?
- (WEB) Don't you know that those who serve around sacred things eat from the things of the temple, and those who wait on the altar have their portion with the altar?
- (BBE) Do you not see that the servants of the holy things get their living from the Temple, and the servants of the altar have their part in the food which is offered on the altar?
- (YLT) Have ye not known that those working about the things of the temple -- of the temple do eat, and those waiting at the altar -- with the altar are partakers?
- (CPDV) Do you not know that those who work in the holy place eat the things that are for the holy place, and that those who serve at the altar also share with the altar?
- (DAR) Do ye not know that they who labour [at] sacred things eat of the [offerings offered in the] temple; they that attend at the altar partake with the altar?
- (DRC) Know you not, that they who work in the holy place, eat the things that are of the holy place; and they that serve the altar, partake with the altar?
- (WBT) Do ye not know that they who minister about holy things live from the things of the temple, and they who wait at the altar are partakers with the altar?
- (RV60) ¿No sabéis que los que trabajan en las cosas sagradas, comen del templo, y que los que sirven al altar, del altar participan?

- (KJV) Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel.
- (ASV) Even so did the Lord ordain that they that proclaim the gospel should live of the gospel.
- (WEB) Even so the Lord ordained that those who proclaim the Good News should live from the Good News.
- (BBE) Even so did the Lord give orders that the preachers of the good news might get their living from the good news.
- (YLT) so also did the Lord direct to those proclaiming the good news: of the good news to live.
- (CPDV) So, too, has the Lord ordained that those who announce the Gospel should live by the Gospel.
- (DAR) So also the Lord has ordained to those that announce the glad tidings to live of the glad tidings.
- (DRC) So also the Lord ordained that they who preach the gospel, should live by the gospel.
- (WBT) Even so hath the Lord ordained that they who preach the gospel should live by the gospel.
- (RV60) Así también ordenó el Señor a los que anuncian el evangelio, que vivan del evangelio.

- (KJV) But I have used none of these things: neither have I written these things, that it should be so done unto me: for it were better for me to die, than that any man should make my glorying void.
- (ASV) But I have used none of these things: and I write not these things that it may be so done in my case; for [it were] good for me rather to die, than that any man should make my glorifying void.
- (WEB) But I have used none of these things, and I don't write these things that it may be done so in my case; for I would rather die, than that anyone should make my boasting void.
- (BBE) But I have not made use of any of these things: and I am not writing this in the hope that it may be so for me: for it would be better for me to undergo death, than for any man to make this pride of mine of no effect.
- (YLT) And I have used none of these things; neither did I write these things that it may be so done in my case, for [it is] good for me rather to die, than that any one may make my glorying void;
- (CPDV) Yet I have used none of these things. And I have not written so that these things may be done for me. For it is better for me to die, rather than to let anyone empty out my glory.
- (DAR) But *I* have used none of these things. Now I have not written these things that it should be thus in my case; for [it were] good for me rather to die than that any one should make vain my boast.
- (DRC) But I have used none of these things. Neither have I written these things, that they should be so done unto me: for it is good for me to die, rather than that any man should make my glory void.
- (WBT) But I have used none of these things: neither have I written these things, that it should be so done to me: for it were better for me to die, than that any man should make my glorying void.
- (RV60) Pero yo de nada de esto me he aprovechado, ni tampoco he escrito esto para que se haga así conmigo; porque prefiero morir, antes que nadie desvanezca esta mi gloria.

- (KJV) For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!
- (ASV) For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of; for necessity is laid upon me; for woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel.
- (WEB) For if I preach the Good News, I have nothing to boast about; for necessity is laid on me; but woe is to me, if I don't preach the Good News.
- (BBE) For if I am a preacher of the good news, I have no cause for pride in this; because I am forced to do so, for a curse is on me if I do not.
- (YLT) for if I may proclaim good news, it is no glorying for me, for necessity is laid upon me, and wo is to me if I may not proclaim good news;
- (CPDV) For if I preach the Gospel, it is not glory for me. For an obligation has been laid upon me. And woe to me, if I do not preach the Gospel.
- (DAR) For if I announce the glad tidings, I have nothing to boast of; for a necessity is laid upon me; for it is woe to me if I should not announce the glad tidings.
- (DRC) For if I preach the gospel, it is no glory to me, for a necessity lieth upon me: for woe is unto me if I preach not the gospel.
- (WBT) For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of: for necessity is laid upon me; and woe is to me, if I preach not the gospel!
- (RV60) Pues si anuncio el evangelio, no tengo por qué gloriarme; porque me es impuesta necesidad; y ¡ay de mí si no anunciare el evangelio!

- (KJV) For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me.
- (ASV) For if I do this of mine own will, I have a reward: but if not of mine own will, I have a stewardship intrusted to me.
- (WEB) For if I do this of my own will, I have a reward. But if not of my own will, I have a stewardship entrusted to me.
- (BBE) But if I do it gladly, I have a reward; and if not, I am under orders to do it.
- (YLT) for if willing I do this, I have a reward; and if unwillingly -- with a stewardship I have been entrusted!
- (CPDV) For if I do this willingly, I have a reward. But if I do this reluctantly, a dispensation is granted to me.
- (DAR) For if I do this voluntarily, I have a reward; but if not of my own will, I am entrusted with an administration.
- (DRC) For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation is committed to me:
- (WBT) For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed to me.
- (RV60) Por lo cual, si lo hago de buena voluntad, recompensa tendré; pero si de mala voluntad, la comisión me ha sido encomendada.

- (KJV) What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel.
- (ASV) What then is my reward? That, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel without charge, so as not to use to the full my right in the gospel.
- (WEB) What then is my reward? That, when I preach the Good News, I may present the Good News of Christ without charge, so as not to abuse my authority in the Good News.
- (BBE) What then is my reward? This, that when I am giving the good news, I may give it without payment, not making use of my rights as a preacher of the good news.
- (YLT) What, then, is my reward? -- that proclaiming good news, without charge I shall make the good news of the Christ, not to abuse my authority in the good news;
- (CPDV) And what, then, would be my reward? So, when preaching the Gospel, I should give the Gospel without taking, so that I may not misuse my authority in the Gospel.
- (DAR) What is the reward then that I have? That in announcing the glad tidings I make the glad tidings costless [to others], so as not to have made use, as belonging to me, of my right in [announcing] the glad tidings.
- (DRC) What is my reward then? That preaching the gospel, I may deliver the gospel without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel.
- (WBT) What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I may not abuse my power in the gospel.
- (RV60) ¿Cuál, pues, es mi galardón? Que predicando el evangelio, presente gratuitamente el evangelio de Cristo, para no abusar de mi derecho en el evangelio.

- (ASV) For though I was free from all [men,] I brought myself under bondage to all, that I might gain the more.

- (BBE) For though I was free from all men, I made myself a servant to all, so that more might have salvation.

- (KJV) To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.
- (ASV) to them that are without law, as without law, not being without law to God, but under law to Christ, that I might gain them that are without law.

- (BBE) To those without the law I was as one without the law, not as being without law to God, but as under law to Christ, so that I might give the good news to those without the law.

- (CPDV) To those who are under the law, I became as if I were under the law, (though I was not under the law) so that I might gain those who were under the law. To those who were without the law, I became as if I were without the law, (though I was not without the law of God, being in the law of Christ) so that I might gain those who were without the law.
- (DAR) to those without law, as without law, (not as without law to God, but as legitimately subject to Christ,) in order that I might gain [those] without law.
- (DRC) To them that are under the law, as if I were under the law, (whereas myself was not under the law,) that I might gain them that were under the law. To them that were without the law, as if I were without the law, (whereas I was not without the law of God, but was in the law of Christ,) that I might gain them that were without the law.
