Psalms Chapter 11

(KJV) (To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.) In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?
(ASV) (Psalm 11 For the Chief Musician. [A Psalm] of David.)In Jehovah do I take refuge: How say ye to my soul, Flee [as] a bird to your mountain;
(WEB) In Yahweh, I take refuge. How can you say to my soul, "Flee as a bird to your mountain!"
(BBE) In the Lord put I my faith; how will you say to my soul, Go in flight like a bird to the mountain?
(YLT) To the Overseer. -- By David. In Jehovah I trusted, how say ye to my soul, `They moved [to] Thy mountain for the bird?
(CPDV) Unto the end. For the octave. A Psalm of David.
(DAR) {To the chief Musician. [A Psalm] of David.} In Jehovah have I put my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee [as] a bird to your mountain?
(DRC) Unto the end; for the octave, a psalm for David.

(RV60) En Jehová he confiado; ¿Cómo decís a mi alma, Que escape al monte cual ave?

(KJV) For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.
(ASV) For, lo, the wicked bend the bow, They make ready their arrow upon the string, That they may shoot in darkness at the upright in heart;
(WEB) For, behold, the wicked bend their bows. They set their arrows on the strings, that they may shoot in darkness at the upright in heart.
(BBE) See, the bows of the evil-doers are bent, they make ready their arrows on the cord, so that they may send them secretly against the upright in heart.
(YLT) For lo, the wicked tread a bow, They have prepared their arrow on the string, To shoot in darkness at the upright in heart.
(CPDV) Save me, O Lord, because holiness has passed away, because truths have been diminished, before the sons of men.
(DAR) For behold, the wicked bend the bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may in darkness shoot at the upright in heart.
(DRC) Save me, O Lord, for there is now no saint: truths are decayed from among the children of men.
(WBT) For lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.
(RV60) Porque he aquí, los malos tienden el arco, Disponen sus saetas sobre la cuerda, Para asaetear en oculto a los rectos de corazón.

(KJV) If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
(ASV) If the foundations be destroyed, What can the righteous do?

(YLT) When the foundations are destroyed, The righteous -- what hath he done?
(CPDV) They have been speaking emptiness, each one to his neighbor; they have been speaking with deceitful lips and a duplicitous heart.
(DAR) If the foundations be destroyed, what shall the righteous do?
(DRC) They have spoken vain things every one to his neighbour: with deceitful lips, and with a double heart have they spoken.
(WBT) If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
(RV60) Si fueren destruidos los fundamentos, ¿Qué ha de hacer el justo?

(KJV) The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD's throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
(ASV) Jehovah is in his holy temple; Jehovah, his throne is in heaven; His eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
(WEB) Yahweh is in his holy temple. Yahweh is on his throne in heaven. His eyes observe. His eyes examine the children of men.

(DAR) Jehovah [is] in the temple of his holiness; Jehovah, -- his throne is in the heavens: his eyes behold, his eyelids try the children of men.
(DRC) May the Lord destroy all deceitful lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things.
(WBT) The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD'S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try the children of men.
(RV60) Jehová está en su santo templo; Jehová tiene en el cielo su trono; Sus ojos ven, sus párpados examinan a los hijos de los hombres.

(KJV) The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
(ASV) Jehovah trieth the righteous; But the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
(WEB) Yahweh examines the righteous, but the wicked and him who loves violence his soul hates.
(BBE) The Lord puts the upright and the sinner to the test, but he has hate in his soul for the lover of violent acts.
(YLT) Jehovah the righteous doth try. And the wicked and the lover of violence, Hath His soul hated,
(CPDV) They have said: "We will magnify our tongue; our lips belong to us. What is Lord to us?"
(DAR) Jehovah trieth the righteous one; but the wicked, and him that loveth violence, his soul hateth.
(DRC) Who have said: We will magnify our tongue; our lips are our own; who is Lord over us?
(WBT) The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
(RV60) Jehová prueba al justo; Pero al malo y al que ama la violencia, su alma los aborrece.

(KJV) Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.
(ASV) Upon the wicked he will rain snares; Fire and brimstone and burning wind shall be the portion of their cup.
(WEB) On the wicked he will rain blazing coals; fire, sulfur, and scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup.
(BBE) On the evil-doer he will send down fire and flames, and a burning wind; with these will their cup be full.
(YLT) He poureth on the wicked snares, fire, and brimstone, And a horrible wind [is] the portion of their cup.
(CPDV) Because of the misery of the destitute and the groaning of the poor, now I will arise, says the Lord. I will place him in safety. I will act faithfully toward him.
(DAR) Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone; and scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup.
(DRC) By reason of the misery of the needy, and the groans of the poor, now will I arise, saith the Lord. I win set him in safety; I will deal confidently in his regard.
(WBT) Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and a horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.
(RV60) Sobre los malos hará llover calamidades; Fuego, azufre y viento abrasador será la porción del cáliz de ellos.

(KJV) For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.
(ASV) For Jehovah is righteous; he loveth righteousness: The upright shall behold his face.

(DAR) For righteous is Jehovah; he loveth righteousness, his countenance doth behold the upright.
(DRC) The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried by the fire, purged from the earth refined seven times.
(WBT) For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance beholdeth the upright.
